Fly

Fly

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Late bloomers stuck looking at their colleagues grow
Wondering when it'll be their time to steal the show
Contemplating if they'll ever know how to climb up from down below
The late bloomers take to the night and think about how they can conquer the day
Wanting a taste of the sun and it's glorious rays
They no longer want to stay in the same position
Yearning to no longer be under failures submission
But they fail, their mission is being driven off the rails which triggers the quit in them so now their growth becomes stale
Its okay to fail as long as you get back up and try again
Some can do it alone some need the help of friends
The late bloomers will rise
There's no limit for your growth now go and touch the sky
