Out and about

Out and about

A Poem by Joey Martinez

I love a woman who's confident within her own complexion
Out in public with nothing to hide, showing her imperfections
Dark circles from lack of sleep
Probably from those nightmares that love to creep
Acne scars from popping those pimples too hard
She's showing the world she doesn't give a f**k who sees
She's showing the world she's confident with the woman the world chose her to be
Im not into these women with the revealing dresses trying to send a message
I'm into the sweatpants and plain simple tee
A woman who doesnt spend the extra dollar for high end fashion to look supreme
I'm into simplicity I never go by ethnicity i go by dignity, I love a woman who deflects the bigotry, avoids the infamy, who knows not to judge a man visually
God bless those women
God f*****g bless
