A Poem by Joey Martinez

A final frantic desperate shout
The white flag has been taken out
I can no longer deal with reality and it's course
I'm tired of its pity I'm done seeking remorse
Fires ablaze within my eyes
Blood begins to drip along side my cries
A deal with the devil is going to be made
I want the money I want the women I want these nightmares to fade
Such a steal don't you think?
My unwanted soul for life's richest drinks
What a fool the devil must be
To be willing to trade with a loser like me
The pentagram is ignited
Frantically waiting to be invited
At last my soul departs to her demonic lair
I come face to face with the devil and can't help but stare
I can't help but glare
She's beautiful, no, shes phenomenal
All these biblical chronicles were wrong
Such a fool I was to listen to those horrid songs
The devil is the must beautiful creature to gaze my eyes
Damn those priests for preaching such lies
She draws near
And with a simple kiss, erased all my fears
I close my eyes to awaken back on earth
But I feel no difference where's the worth!?
Where's my money where's my women?
Why do I still feel like a chump, I demand at least a limen
Then it came to me
I've been fooled I've been duped
I took the spoon and tasted the Devils soup
Leaving with an empty stomach because my soul is gone
I'm nothing...... I'm literally nothing

Selling your soul to the devil
was so unoriginal. that what I thought when I began to read this but as I went on I though
NO WAIT
this is something else. I love it. how in the end the person nothing. oh I love how he thought the people where wrong about the devil. how you created a devil character with a few short words. oh surely this is something to read about and
thank god I read it. I cant wait to see what else you written I still have time the devil has not come for me yet.
