Wall

Wall

A Poem by Joey Martinez

He wants to build a wall to keep us divided
But it occurred to me that maybe he wants to keep us trapped
Keep us in this hell hole we call America like a bunch of rats
Call me crazy, call me insane
With this man as president, there's no limit to his reign
Protestors of all races unite
But yet we still have violence between all races each and every night
And it will continue to grow
But this time we will be trapped with no where to go
Again, this is just a young mans opinion
I like to have an open mind rather than act like one of his minions
We all know this man is a fool
But his money is no joke
And it's sad to say but don't we all wanna see this man croak?
An orange tycoon trapping us in a walled typhoon with no where to escape except but maybe the moon
His inauguration
Affected a generation
Causing racial segregation
Under this so called united nation
But here we are
Far from our goal
Of becoming whole
