A Poem by Joey Martinez

She's on a crazy train all aboard!
Off the rails but the gas pedal is floored
Snorting a blizzard of snow, wanting more
Time is consuming
She struggles removing
Temptation and sorrow
For a better tomorrow
Snowed out, distorted perception
No one is near but fears deception
Memories haunting
Another blizzard wanting
Up the nose to the brain
Little by little going insane
Afraid of change but wanting new
No more blizzards just skies of blue
Clear mind, clear vision
Better health stable condition
But the snowflakes begin to fall
Will she line it up or walk away from it all
Snowflakes start to stick, her mouth waters
She licks her lips, she can't resist
The blizzard of 86
