Whats Inside

Whats Inside

A Poem by Joey Martinez

The simple minded are only attracted to looks
But what really intrigues me is what's inside the book
The chapters of your life, the pages explaining who you are
Is what drives me insane, I can't control the car
A humorous woman with comfort and touch
With an understanding of why personality is worth so much
Thats what grabs my attention
And it's a shame these woman go unmentioned
F**k the looks, disregard your weight
Kiss your assets goodbye it's far too late
A beautiful face and a exquisite body is mere distraction
Nothing is better than a woman with compassion
Don't think your precious smile can fool my mind
Your good looks and horrid soul are just a waste of time
