I start to reminisce
My lips begin to miss
The feeling of our first kiss
O how I wish I can turn back the clock
To relive that moment when our lips first locked
But to sit here and know you have another man
Wasn't part of my plan
I just can't understand
How we can go from holding hands
To living on separate lands
I wanted you with me at all times
No matter if the rain flooded or sun shined
I wanted you with me because I felt as if you were mine
But it seems it was all a misunderstanding
I played the fool once again
Now you're not even my friend
So I sit here alone
Hoping you reach out to me over the phone
But we both know I'm forgotten
A memory that wanted to be remembered but now it's rotten
