Most believe words are just words
But some just can't go unheard
They cause pain
They drive you insane
I've seen the strongest people
Get soaked in its rain
Words can flood your mind
And cause you to sink
One person's negative comments
Can drive you to drink
Which leads to damaging yourself
Now words are hurting your health
But no, words are just words right?
They cause no physical pain but lead into fights
Left there to die over a few exchanges
Wondering what words you could have said to change this
Words hurt, words kill
But yet people feed off the thrill
Of damaging one's well being
Outside they're fine but on the inside they're fleeing
Running away from it all
Heading towards the fall
One word can end it all
