Just Run

Just Run

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Sitting on a rooftop
Trying to grasp the moon
Because tomorrow is coming far too soon
Another day without you is soon to rise
Why did you have to depart?
You said you were going to stay from the start
But I blame myself
For being a fool of love
So I sit here every night
Trying to stop the sun from rising above
If I can be the hand on the clock
I would stop instead of going back
Because you'll just hurt me again
And that's a fact
But its true I crave you
I ache for your soul to appear
Because you were the only person
To distract me from my fears
Although you did all that
You broke me again
Now you're just a somebody
Not even a friend
You're so far from me now
But I can hear the sound
I can hear the joy in your voice
Even after you made the choice
If you cared at all
You to should be looking down ready to fall
But you're way up high
Soaring on the cloud of smiles
While I get soaked
By my tears of denial
Run away
Just keep running
And don't look back
For its a trap!
Misery loves company
So please stay where you are
Don't come near me
Stay..... far

I can relate to this one and it's an awful feeling when you see somebody you love be happy without you or with another person althought she was never your girl friend....
Run away,Just keep running and don't look back...
Indeed, Leave the problemas behind
Amazing piece of poetry
