Highly Confused

We took the drugs to find ourselves
But we're lost more than ever
Maybe taking those pills
Wasn't so clever
We sit here staring at each other
But we can't recognize who we are
We're sitting beside one another
But you seem so far
Are you the girl I fell in love with?
Are you the one who took my breath?
Or are you the one who's bringing me down?
And guiding me closer to death
Maybe its the drugs talking
But its making perfect sense
Maybe we should drift apart
And climb that fence
