Devils Ballroom

Devils Ballroom

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Farewell, we're dancing with the devil tonight
Don't you even try to run towards the light
And if you dare to escape and look him in the eye
Prepare to wallow in flames because you're gonna die
Put on your red dress we can't be late
We must never upset the beholder of our fate
Come on girl he awaits your hand
The devil loves sinners, he's such a huge fan
The way you ruined all those lives
Pinched his heart like a pack of knives
Even near flames you don't break a sweat
Just like that night you put her to death
Maybe the devil will remove you from his debt
Since you helped him delivered so many last breaths
That dress fits perfect, as if it were made just for you
The Cinderella of sin, here's your shoe
My oh my what a angel you are
A red devilish figure with a heart black as tar
So my love are you ready to dance?
Ready to get lost in the sinful trance?
Step on the dance floor, its your turn
I can't wait to watch you burn
