Silent Cries

Silent Cries

A Poem by Joey Martinez

So many problems to face

But its easier to run

Sometimes I want to end it all

And cut myself until the pains done

I'm hanging on by a thread

But no one seems to care

I need someone to explain to me

Why life is so unfair

I lost the battle

I lost the war

I'm on the edge

Knocking on deaths door

I just want a friend

Someone who cares

But in todays world

 Someone like that is rare

I am alone

A lost troubled soul

With a troubled mind

And a heart black as coal

I hope someone comes

And hears my silent cries

If I end it all tonight

Darkness is where I'll lie

Someone anyone

Please come now

I need a boost

I can't stop looking down
