Midnight Toker

Midnight Toker

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Sitting on my rooftop smoking a blunt

Trying to rid of these negative emotions that love to hunt

But nights like these are the ones I tend to remember

As I sit back and spark the blunt to engulf its ember

These negative thoughts can drive me crazy

They clutter my mind and make it hazy

I am a late night marijuana smoker

A troubled midnight toker
