Forbidden Taste

Forbidden Taste

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Take a journey to the end of the night
Run little angel, run until you see the light
Don't be afraid, the moon will guide you home
So don't ever come to think you walk alone
Break on through to the other side
Take a chance, hop on risks ride
You will travel far, indeed you will
Take a ride to the wild side and enjoy the thrill
The walls of routine have you locked tight
Don't be scared of a whole new sight
Break out of the calm daily routine
Try something new, I'll provide a shoulder to lean
Now come follow the light I provide
Come out and run, theres no need to hide
Its just you and I taking this exquisite trip
Come eat the forbidden fruit, come to the river and take a sip
All is welcome here, there are no rules
Come on kid leave that paradise of fools
Don't look back, look straight ahead
Its time for a new chapter in your life, the old you is dead
Thats it, run my child, run fast
This feeling of adrenaline? you want it to last?
Then hurry up, my world awaits
Get ready to have some fun, open the gate
