As I sit here in the grass looking at the night sky

To say you're not on my mind, is just a flat out lie

I'm surrounded my great people and a gorgeous view 

But all I can think about.... is you

Your presence is the essence

I want, no, I need you by my side

Because you make this roller coaster of emotions a smooth ride 

I'm going through these loops and turns

Each day we're becoming distant and your vibe is something I yearn

With you by my side, I'm cruising at a speed gassed by love

You have me so high off my feet I'm afraid this car might fly up above

And you don't even have to say a word

Your silence is the most beautiful thing I ever heard

You as a whole, you as a person is something I love

I have never felt so peaceful, you are my dove

But I sit here looking content alongside my friends

But in reality I feel like this is the end 

I wish I can go back in time and show you my true feelings

My shy shell is starting to crack, I feel it peeling

I guess I need to tell you how I feel

I want you to read this poem because these feelings are real
