Nature, I Admire You

Admire nature admire is beautiful views

Put down your phone and look what surrounds you

You're focused on a screen that displays words

Instead of looking at the colorful flowers and beautiful birds

You can pass by a gold rose everyday and never realize

Because you choose to have your phone glued to your eyes

When was the last time you went outside and admired nature, admired what it has to offer?

When was the last time you admired the flowers and noticed as time past by they got softer?

That answer will probably be back when you were young

When you went to the park, rolled around the grass, picked flowers and had fun

I see people take pictures of flowers, but they use it for likes on Instagram

But I rarely see people picking them, admiring them, no they wouldn't dare lay a hand

Nature is beautiful, it gives us life, it gives us food

But thats not important, people just want to take selfies for likes to alter their mood

With nature surrounding me I never feel alone 

But you don't realize that, you're too busy on your phone

Go outside and take notice to what God has left you to admire

Leave the phone at home, we all know likes and retweets is all you desire 

It doesn't take much to go outside and appreciate your surroundings

Look at the tress, see the wind hit the flowers and make them seem as if they're bouncing

All I ask is not to forget how beautiful nature really is 

Admire it back when we had no phones, when we were kids
