Just Joey

I am a creator

I am a life saver

I put emotion and thoughts onto paper

Yes money is important but I wanna impact lives

I don't need cash, I rather get a "Good job" and a high five

I want my poems to make people smile and maybe even cry

I want my poems to save people from grabbing the knife and committing suicide 

I rather have a big heart than a big stack of cash

I can't take all that money with me when I turn to ash

But I can live through peoples hearts and minds

And watch from above to make sure everything is fine

I will keep on writing no matter how low I feel

I want the readers to be happy, I want to be their shield 

I want to protect them from all these negative emotions

I want to block all the negative commotion

Thats why I grab my pen and put in it motion

I write for me but mostly for you

I love writing everyday but I love changing lives too

My pen will never run out of ink

Humanity is missing a piece and I just wanna be that link

Just remember, I'm always here with a pen in hand

If you are in need I will always lend out a helping hand

Because you are what makes me stand
