Its Her Again

As of today, I still see nothing but darkness and shades of gray

I'm just waiting for her to arrive again and give color to my day

Her presence shines a light so bright, like the suns ray

It gives me a warm feeling like the month of May

The sky is blue, the grass is green when she stays

But when she leaves, everything turns black and gray

I feel as if I'm about to lose all hope and start to decay

But when I see her again, everything is just okay

Just a simple glare, makes me lose all despair

And when she holds me, I breath nothing but fresh air

I love how she gives me all her tender loving care

I love how she holds my hand and plays with my hair

To meet someone like her, its something rare

And such a out of this world beauty, you can't help but stare

But when the day turns dark 

And we have to say our goodbyes and part

I feel this horrible feeling in my heart

And all those vibrant colors turn dark

I just hope one day we stay close forever

I wanna see color everyday and you hold the lever

Next time, stay with me, and never depart

Because I'm dying for a fresh start
