Welcome back

Welcome back

A Poem by Joey Martinez

Every time I hear your name
My heart aches with hallow pain
The thought of you drives me insane
My tears began to fall like heavy rain
I thought I erased you from my memory
But that sight of you just flat out got to me
And you're still beautiful, more than ever
But I wish I didn't feel these emotions, you pulled the lever
And now these memories are pouring back in
I remember throwing out every memory of you in a bin
Now these memories of us together are coming back and making me cringe
Just a simple glare
Made me feel such a despair
Man, life is just not fair
You didn't appreciate how much I'd care
The love I had for you was rare
And I'd always made sure I was there
Seeing you today tore me apart
I don't know where to start
I have to many thoughts right now that are destroying my heart
I hope I never see you again
But as much as thats true, I wish I could see you everyday
Even though you left me when you said you were gonna stay
I still have feelings for you that I can not deny
But I'll be fine without you
I'm alive aren't I ?
