I'm on a journey to find out why I'm here

I wanna know why I have it good while others live in fear

People need to realize we're lucky to be where we're at

Because across the sea, people get treated like rats

Stop focusing on celebrities 

And start mourning the innocent casualties

That are happening every day

While we sit here in our beds eating a bag of lays

Appreciate what you got, cherish it all

Some people can't even afford cooked meat, and have to eat it raw

Be proud you don't have to worry about a missile hitting your home

Others are suffering right now living in a war torn dome

Two legs, Two arms, I can hear, I can see

I don't have it all but I still have people wishing they were me

It breaks my heart to know I can't help, that I can't give them a hand

I would do anything to help, If I had the power, I'd give them my land

All these 3rd world countries have kids that are fighting to survive

And we're here hanging out, eating, playing on xbox live

Just appreciate what you have, look around you and smile

Because you can be across the world, walking endless miles

To find clean water, to find a place to hide from the gunfire

Please just appreciate what you have, don't fall into the greed of your desires
