A fire we can't extinguish

Always stay positive, never fall to the other side

The journey is about to begin

grab my hand, you're ready to jump in?

welcome to my mind

where everything is mine

in here you can create anything you want anything you desire

but hold on tight I don't want you to fall in the fire

that is the dark side, where the bad thoughts are being born

a place in my mind you must not go I warn

now come along you don't wanna get to close

or else you'll burn in the fire, you'll become a nice tender roast

I always try to stay away from there but sometimes it was almost to late

I barely escaped and lost my self to its horrible fate

We can avoid the dark side in our mind but we can not destroy it

but i found a way to make sure I never go there again

all you need is a paper and a pen

Writing my friend, that's the key you see

Whenever I am being pulled to the dark side of my mind

I relax, write, and everything becomes fine

Negative thoughts are a part of life

It can hurt you like a rusty sharp knife

whenever you're feeling down or upset

grab a pen, write it out my friend, that's your best bet 

we all have that dark side, but never let it control you

or you'll end up roasting in its negative tasty stew

I like this, I pictured it as being a tour in your mind, which is an interesting way to present this lol and the roast beef and stew got me chuckling. I like how you said that writing helps when you are going down that negative path, it truly does help and perhaps I should pick up the pen more often in those moments. I think this poem flowed smoothly.
