This isnt what I expected.

The world around me is not what I expected

it took my happiness and wrecked it

I feel neglected, like my thoughts and wisdom were intercepted 

I am living in fear, this world is in a turn in which i cannot steer

gun shots and police sirens deafen my ears 

when it should be laughter and loud cheers 

year after year nothing changes, things get worse

the violence ranges

if i had the power to change all this I would not think twice

but I'ma leave that to God, the creator of life
