RepititionA Poem by Stephanie MorfordA Shakespearean sonnet about repetition writtern in iambic pentameter
Everyday is always the same for me,
I need a break from this monotony; Through the days I whisper a silent plea, Repetition in my anatomy. Being in a uniform everyday, Makes the days lifeless and the seasons blend; I wish there was a hue in the display, Repetition when will it ever end. All of the colors sucked out of the world; All of the music turned to a dull tone; My wings are no longer outstretched but furled; Repetition wore me down to the bone. Everyday is always the same for me, Repetition no more let me be free.
