A Lego Learning Poem by My Brother

A Lego Learning Poem by My Brother

A Poem by Stephanie Morford
"

I didn't write this. My brother did but I believe it deserves to be shared for it's creativity.

"
Working with Legos is a task that invokes thought, care, and attention.

School is a memory game, which tests not knowledge, but short term retention.

It is no wonder why students continue to struggle with school.

Instead of using arbitrary teaching methods like textbooks with no soul,

They should consider using Legos to fill the gap, and make learning whole;

But alas, mom's spaghetti has fallen out of my pocket: I now explode into treats.

I agree.

Every student learn differently. School had become standard teaching and won't flex for the student with different needs. Thank you Stephanie for sharing the excellent poetry.
