You

You

A Poem by Stephanie Morford
"

A cute little poem about the girl in my dreams.

"
Her eyes are the stars
Her smile is the sunshine on a stormy day
I try to gain the courage to say
All the things on my mind
But all I hear is the grind

Of my teeth as they stop my words
I wish to fly with you like the birds
And I don't need shiny cars
To say in the sky you are the stars

Not one of my favorites, but I was 14. It's a bit more refreshing than most of my other poems written then. Tell me if you enjoyed and feel free to leave any constructive criticism.

Amazing poetry for love.

I agree with the above lines. When someone excite heart and mind. Make our knees weak. Thank you Stephe for sharing the excellent poetry.

This is a nice little romantic poem. I'd critique this, but since you said you were 14 when you wrote this, and you admitted that it's "not one of your favorites," I'll just leave it alone. Overall, this flows very well for being unmetered, rhyming poetry. I enjoyed reading this.
