With A Smile That Never FadesA Story by JodieHa poem with a storyHer black hair fell softly over her pale shoulders. Her dress skimmed over the crisp snow when she took a
graceful step. When she smiled the world seemed to light up. The moon reflected off the little pool of water at the woods
edge.
Her posture, striding forward, looked strong, proud and she
is a beautiful lady who is grateful to be here with a smile that says she is
ok. Sometimes her smile faded, but she would still keep walking,
her posture will droop, but she will keep going forward. She needs a hug, just
to know someone cares.
Her black hair pulled high, her white dress skimming the
floor, the train following her down the aisle to the altar. Two beautiful girls
holding bouquets of white lilies. Her smile the biggest it has been ever, as
she gets married.
Rocking on the front porch, silver strands breaking through
the tension of the black midnight colour of the hair, which sits softly on her
shoulders. She holds her head high, a smile warm enough to melt the snow on the
ground. She looks up in the sky, and thanks the lord for keeping her
safe. With a smile that never fades… © 2012 JodieHFeatured Review
