A Poem by Jodi

You come around,

You shoot me down,

Like I don't matter to you.

You go away,

You say,

You don't want to live this way.

But I know you do.

I see,

You leave.

I know you'll be back.

You move on,

I pretend you ain't gone;

I see right through your act.

I wait.

I assume you're just late,

But you don't come home.

And now I'm alone.

Amazing. One of a kind. Love it. Self-denial, you wrote it in a way that is undeniably entertaining.
