It's icy inside

It's icy inside

A Poem by J.E.M
"

how does one describe a description of oneself? why not take a chance and just read it anyway? I dare you

"

It can't be seen or heard or read

Really it can only be felt

You cannot taste it or smell it or touch it

really it can only be felt

like heat it scorches and burns your skin

till you find yourself screaming and crying within

you feel the chill as your heart-

it freezes

it beats frozen blood

and ices your mind

and your thoughts are dark

and vacant

and above all, you are cold

when it reaches you, you are stung

it is a poison that spreads

and takes you under

there is no escape that i can find

if it ever takes you

you will try and find it too

but all you will find

is my cold dead heart

and my dark icy mind
