summer.

summer.

A Poem by ok jocelyn

As days pass by, I start to wonder more and more about how you'll fit into my life. You see, it's not that easy for me to just let someone in, it's much harder than that. I have to mentally place a spot for you and make sure that everything will end up okay. I want you here, but we're not getting anywhere; sometimes at night I wish to cuddle up against you, but I realize that that probably will never happen. Sometimes over a long period of time, I crave your existence. You see, it's not fair, god d****t. I want you by my side all the time, but you will never fit in my world. We're so different and I don't think either of us are willing to do anything to change that fact. So as summer comes and goes by, I hope that these feelings flow away, like how the waves crash and leave.
