Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Jocelyn Black
"

Some feelings I feel sometimes. The picture is where I go in my mind to forget everything.

"

Darkness settles in for the night,

stars come out to play.

The weather changes with the months,
turn summer to fall.
Sitting in this none existent place

I guess when darkness falls, and we are just breathing,
living, we exist when nothing else seems real.

Looking elsewhere for an escape can always be found in words. I like the way you have done that with your poem.

I love the Fall. Cooler days and seem the pace is slower then the Summer. A excellent poem. In so few words made me think.
