I'm Waiting

I'm Waiting

A Poem by Jocelyn Black
"

A nameless girl waiting for her love to come back, but realises he won't.

"

I call out your name,

no ones here.
I search the house,
no ones around.
I sit down and wait,
I call out your name.
I'll wait forever,
In spirit and mind.
I walk out the door,
leaving my heart behind.

In so few words. A beautiful poem. I felt the yearning and the feeling of disappointment walking away. Thank you.
