disrespectA Poem by JoceMariashould i be afraid of the consequences of my actions should i of held my tongue, scared that my words would cut deep make you lash out we are all human we say things just to get a reaction i test the boundaries and the level of love and respect you have for me if its really love then no matter what i do or say should ever give you the right to raise your hands to hit me as women we allow ourselves to be controlled and disrespected love should not hurt or break you you should never be afraid you should always feel protected by the one you love the one you give you mind body and soul to "The more chances you give someone the less respect they’ll start to have for you. They’ll begin to ignore the standards that you’ve set because they’ll know another chance will always be given. They’re not afraid to lose you because they know no matter what you won’t walk away. They get comfortable with depending on your forgiveness. Never let a person get comfortable disrespecting you." © 2017 JoceMariaFeatured Review
