Tyler (Prelude)

Tyler (Prelude)

A Story by Joseph Greene
"

just a thought.

"

Do you ever realize how insignificant we really are?

Just think about your life right now.

Everything you've experienced, everything you've done, are doing and are going to do mean nothing in the end.

We are nothing more than ants, living in the vastness of the universe.

Nothing we do or will ever do will have an impact on the course of the universe.

If I were to die as I'm typing this, no one will care.

Hell no one would know.

Yeah, my family might be sad and all but they're still going to live.

The world will continue as if nothing happened.

I'll probably be forgotten.

My legacy, stored away in emptiness.

That just further proves my point.

I could die ,you could die, your neighbor could die

But, the world isn't going to stop for us.

You wont see TV specials on our lives, no.

you would for Brad Pitt, or Tom Cruise.

Paul Walker got a song from John Legend and all he did was drive cars.

We are nothing to society.

Nothing to the world.

Nothing to the universe.

We're better off not existing.

At least then, we don't have to worry about trivial things like money,

or worry about bills,

or worry about how people view you.

You wont worry about getting good grades,

getting into the best college,

or getting a job were you can live comfortably.

You wont have to worry about sickness,

about people,

about the state of our society,

about social issues,

about presidential elections,

none of it.

You can finally be at peace.
