Fathoming Je ne sais quoiA Poem by Jo BillygoatCreated on: 4-3-18 Think as you will, results will all be meaningless -- for the temporal as all, nothing we are.Inquiry into the known is acceptable Question the known is oft granted hypocrisy Prove a theory is genius at current time Look at the ages to review the facts Open a page to new identity you committed a crime There is no standard to base a premise because all is relative Go fast enough and nothing exist Yet oft than not, something comes from nothing Temporal mortality catches up to that which used to be perceived too fast Potential in all is beyond a current time Given time, all things are and become possible realities Reality, eventually gets changed, corrupted and ceases and becomes a distant past Past, present or future are encompassed with the unknown Run in circle, as life has shown plenty, and you end up where you began Start slow, go to light speed, slow to dead stop -- you never went anywhere Aliens we were, developing us they are, we become alien again Advanced life, too, is caught in the cyclic conundrum Purpose is relative for meaning holds its hand as they skip into a state of je ne sais quoi. © 2018 Jo BillygoatAuthor's Note
