Subtle

Subtle

A Poem by Joel Marshall
"

It's in the simple things that makes love great! From my debut book of poetry BOY GONE CRAZY - The Written Voice: Vol. 1

"

Subtle is the way you
moved the mountains for me.
Your gentle hands have
claimed me as yours.

Subtle is the look
in your eyes.
Everyday our future
is right there in
front of me-You.

Subtle is the hand
that touches my inner being.
The grace of you quivers
me and warms my body hot.

The subtlety in you has
calmed the beast in me.
Your voice soothes the ache
I so long to rid of.
Yet it excites the puppy love inside.
I feed myself from your hands
as you kiss my neck with what
you knew we would be.
The tears I catch from your eyes
are forever in this fountain
we've made of love.

Subtle is the morning sun
rising in the sky.
My eyes open to your
peaceful face and we smile.

Subtle is the full moon
beaming so brightly.
We dance each other to tranquility
as I hold you tight in my arms.

Subtle is the sweet kiss
that only you can give.
I melt into you and it
washes away all the blues.
