I know her. To Say I love her.A Poem by JoJo Hallows
I know her. To say I love her wouldn't be a complete truth. People show us thier strongest traits and compels us to them. It tells us we can't live with those aspects of another's character, so we must love them. I knew everything that made her who she was, why she as who she was and what she would evolve into. I loved all of her. I know her.
We hardly spoke. Don't get me wrong, I love a beautifully composed sentence so eloquent that it intensified the expression behind it. Our connection was beyond speech. Electric wavelengths intertwined between us. A connection so deep; making words unecessary or simply inadequate to the feeling needed to be conveyed. No, we did not speak. We glared, two optics releasing sparks that coursed through our viens. Well, she's Dead now.. Dug myself a hole so deep, I can't climb out. Now there's just a view above. A knowledge that all I have are my strongest parts and that might not be enough for one to invest in. That words rush out from a restless mind's overflow in a desperation to explain myself. This is me without her. © 2013 JoJo Hallows |
