MY CityA Poem by Jen
I sit here Realizing I'm in a lost world One that I never belonged to I wish to transverse to a solitary universe A city A city of art, of love Tall skyscrapers tickle the clouds - also known as the birthmarks of the skies Harmonic balances are the blend that breeds within its residents The residents range from the all colors of the rainbow - some as tall as the those skyscrapers Each one, vigilantly peering over the safety of its equals I watch them as peering into a snow globe - in fascination With a burning yearning of the desire to be within what is found in that globe My city, my city of love and art
