Night of Artemis Pt. 1
This wasn't how I imagined my night. I rush through the steel door, breaking it down as if it were paper. My eyes are bright yellow, the skin on my body is pure black, the nails on my hands now silver sharp claws. There are two men in front of me with guns in their hands, ready to fire. I tear through both of their throats like butter with a swing of my arm so swift even my own eyes couldn't catch them. The two fall to the ground choking on their own blood. I speed down the hallway, turning hallways and slashing down anyone I see. As I keep running, my senses go wild as I smell my target drawing near. I need to get this over with fast. I speed down a narrow hallway until it leads to another steel door. As I go to tear it down, the door is blown out from the inside, knocking me to the wall as it smashes into my body. I feel five broken ribs, a cracked skull, a broken nose, and a twisted ankle all heal up within seconds. I push the door off of me as I see a beast standing over six feet tall, its fur a dark brown color and its eyes pure red. It's built like juggernaut, with nearly all of its veins showing on every muscle in its body. Its teeth are so sharp it seems as if it could bite its own jaw off, with the smell of death and blood lingering from its breath. Its claws look almost five feet long, more red from being deep in blood than silver. It looks at me with an anger and hunger stronger than what I've seen in any beast before. It roared at me with a ferocity that shook the entire place. I'm hit with a small dose of fear. Most shouts from a beast would send the entire navy seals team home pissing their pants. Since I am one of them, it doesn't affect me as much. Plus, I can't afford to be scared right now. I have to get to my target, and soon. I roar as high as I can right back towards the beast and charge forward.
