Shade of Grey

By Burt/Lynn

Verse 1:

I’m almost at the end of my rope with you

You embarrass me to a point

That I’m breaking down

I wish you’d grow up and be a man

Next time, I’ll leave the door open

But I won’t be around.

Bridge 1:

Which one should I choose?

Myself or go back to you?

Chorus:

It’s just a shade of grey

The mist in my eyes sees every day

You act as if loves an illusion

Well, I’ve come to this conclusion

You either love me

Or leave me be

Verse 2:

Carelessly cursing my name

Your always making me the one to blame

I suffer the consequence

I wished you would have been the right man

This time the door isn’t open

Now I’m standing solid on my own ground

Bridge 2:

This one I did choose

Myself this time you’re the one to lose

(Chorus)
