Mirrors

Mirrors

A Poem by J. Kell

Shattered Mirrors stare at me

Proposing truths and unreality

Everything I dreamed in the yellow haze

Of summer days, now long past

In gleaming amber bottles

On the balconies of hotels

When strangers laughter

Drowned out the crescendo

And I covered my ears

And you smiled.

: ) I feel like I've been there, done that.
That pic reminds of the hotel in Jamaica.
*sigh

Enjoyed your poem, I can't see Kanye or Fiddy taking it on but it's still pretty cool. ;)

Wow. Very good and deep poem. The mark of great poetry - depth and you have it here. Well done, my friend.
