Fate?

My experience with Fate, or lack there of.

You wish that you could take back your choice

But why didn't you speak up earlier? I knew it wasn't your voice.

Your lips were moving but you weren't the one talking.

I could see who was really behind those eyes.

Your "so called friend" was feeding  you lies

Fate she said, what a joke in itself

Its just a belief in something when there's nothing else.

"It will all work out if he's truly the one"

Not if the the pain you cause me can't be undone

I felt more pain over the past couple months

Than is ever possible to forgive you.

A part of me wants to go back to normal but you left for a reason

Me going back to you would end up like a cycle of seasons.

Issues would never get resolved, there would be constant fighting

The last thing I want is to feel like I'm dying.

Every night I fall asleep to myself crying

Its too much for me to bare

Enough is Enough

Please!

I still care,

But I don't want to anymore...

Wow, I really like this! I know how this feels, really I do. I've seen situations like this happen everywhere. Whether it was on a movie, book, or just my reality. It's stupid when a "friend" tells the person you're dating all bunch of lies. It just doesn't make sense. If the girl's friend really wanted her happy, then why didn't she just shut up and let you two be together and happy? She ruined a relationship that's now too late to be saved. When I was dating my ex Nick, I would hear rumors go around about him liking my then best friend Leslie. At first I didn't believe any of it, but soon it really got to me. I couldn't take the feeling of him possibly falling for my best friend instead of me. It hurt me and I cried and cried. But like you said in your poem towards the end, you do care but then again you just don't want to anymore! Well written, indeed. Keep up the good work :)
