Tightly-Knit Ribbon

Tightly-Knit Ribbon

A Poem by Jjhakimoto

Tightly-Knit Ribbon.

My time’s parents
Have all died.
I’ll still cement the ribbon
We once had tied.

We always sang some merry songs,
That maybe weren’t meant to last.
So don’t come into my future
Unless you bring our slightly improved past.

Until{Unless} we meet again,
Flying like the crows we were once upon a time,
After being carried out of this den.

Amen.
