I forgot what I was going to do

Why is my mind clear when it doesn't need to be?

Why  is it full when it needs to be clear?

Why do I seem to forget the most important?

yet remember the most useless?

My my my, Mystic_Angel! This is really brilliant! It had me pondering and I agreed with you on these questions that you asked yourself. As humans, we do remember things that are more useless rather than something that's more important in our lives. It's just how our minds functions. It's strange actually. With the first stanza, I hate when that happens! When I'm at school and taking a test, my mind goes blank and forgets all of the important notes and facts that I had earlier on prepared myself for that test. It ticks me off more than anything. But while chatting away with my best friends, I'll remember clearly all of the facts instead of talking to them. My mind goes into a trance and I feel then really insane in fact. I honestly don't think there's anything that I dislike about your poem. The form, word choice, critical thinking all is put together well as if it were a jigsaw puzzle. You're an excellent writer and I strongly enjoy reading your work! :)

Mistakes: Now that I re-examine your questions, I notice on the first stanza-second line, there's too much space in between the words "Why" and "is". XD Nothing too major at all!
