I recently broke up with my boyfriend

I feel like i am alone now

No one to hold on to

By myself in a big,lonely world

Cold and alone

The only one without a match 

fish with fish

bird with bird

person with person

and me with no one

I can only think of words to describe this feeling

empty

sad

misfortune

lonely

I know, how everyone holds hand and then you're stuck holding your own....life is so mean...but that's when i met him....my darling....my Artemis Fowl...he's a book character :P Sorry that you and your bf aren't together, never had one sooo i can't relate but I do love someone very much sooo...oh gawd...lol but there are more fish in the sea and one will perfectly be your match ^-^

As a reader it can be really interesting to see emotion in poems or find them. I could clearly notice the sadness within this poem, and it's not a fake one, it is felt, as if you actually conveyed it through the poem. The repetition of words that are associated with sadness are remarkable.
It's truly hard to take-out your emotions, so well done on that, and I hope everything will work out in the end.
