Ive run the course of life

Through pleasant time and strife

O Lord, take me away

Ive experienced all emotions that one could ask for

Who could want anything more

O Lord, take me away

Ive seen seasons pass

In this world where nothing lasts

O Lord, take me away

Ive watched my children grow

Building lives and homes of their own

O Lord, take me away

Ive learned many a lesson in my time

Now in Your soft earth I lie

O Lord, take me away

My life complete

I sit humbly at Your feet

O Lord, take me away
