The Self Rightous

The Self Rightous

A Poem by Danne B.
"

*note* this is not an anti religious poem... mearly it is vent of those who take it too far

"

If your words were my blood

Your violent outpour would bleed my dry

My life drained in a pool of letters

Staining the ground beneith me

With lies, betray and deciept

I smell the stink of joy

On your poisoned breath

Not seeing the world for what it really is

Years spent thinking that I was wrong

My own head messed up

But now I see that it's all of you

Waliking with blinded judgement

Treachery controling your every move

Satan's wolf under the cloak of the Lamb of God

You condem, you point

Forever hiding you own sins

Hating others with no reason

Your gluttony is your own self-rightousness

You sloth you lack of responsibility

Your own God throwuing you into your own Hell
