Just A Dream

I went over the moon,
Way past mars.
I wanted to bring you
The brightest of stars.

I saw the look on
Your beautiful face,
it caused my heart
To jump and race.

But I soon realized
That I couldn’t fly,
To bring you the stars
From the night sky.

It was just a dream,
Nothing but fiction.
But dreaming of you
Is a damn addiction.

I can’t bring you
The stars from the sky,
But I can give you my
Heart, this I can’t deny.

I’ll be there till the end,
Our love I’ll defend.
Never to leave your side,
With you is where I reside.
