The thief
Did you see that thief, did you see where she went?
She stole it, she took it and left me a little bent.
Bent on her eyes, her lips, her smile, bent on her heart.
She stole mine, and I want for us to never be apart.
I’m not sure how she did it, how she snuck by,
But I’m not asking questions, I don’t wanna know why.
Why she wants it, wants a heart like mine.
But I’ll tell you, I don’t care she can have it, I wont whine.
She’s all I’ve ever wanted, all I’ve ever dreamed of.
She’s it, she’s the one, the one I want to love.
Can you tell me where she went, tell me where to go?
So I can tell her that I think there is something she should know.
I see her standing there, giggling and shy.
But I’ll approach her and tell her so am I.
I’ll hold her hand and softly kiss her cheek.
The when I finally kiss her lips, my legs would go weak.
Did you see that thief?
