One day, it’ll just be you and me,
Sitting under a shaded oak tree.
I’ll have your hand in mine,
Watching your eyes shine.

One day, it’ll just be you and I,
Sitting there, watching the sky.
I’ll kiss your lips and smile,
Yes, I’d walk that extra mile.

One day, I’ll be holding you for real,
Then maybe I’ll finally fully heal.
I’ll say I love you, and
You’ll know it’s true.

One day, I’ll kiss you in the rain,
Forget all of my past pain.
I’ll be lost in your kiss,
Your lips tasting of sweet bliss.

I’ll wait forever if I have to,
Just as long as It’ll be me and you.
