Sonnet II

Sonnet II

A Poem by Jimsimagination
"

Misled

"
Forever I shall be as Peter Pan
To sail in Swallow among childhood dreams;
let amazons come: to complete the theme,
of adventures that swell my playful plans
To act out robin hood with merry clan,
and fight against the white witches regime
With the victors to win wonkas esteem
So playing, I wonder how life began
Yet for me it seemed these games disagree;
for every book read - which to inspire
these games, they all, became gobbledygook
these books, I see, instruct in anarchy,
and I fell short of my burning desire
Now Peter Pan I know I'm not; but Hook
